"This is Mary Murphy and you are watching Expert Village. Now we would put together the pecan pie filing part of this pumpkin pecan pie. The ingredients for the pecan pie filling is you use 3 eggs, 1 cup of sugar, /3 cup of melted butter we will melt it in the microwave later, a cup of light corn syrup, 1 cup of pecans and some vanilla extract. Vanilla just add a very nice flavoring for your pie and in some southern states they would put bourbon in instead of vanilla but I like vanilla better. "
