"Hi I'm Karen for Expert Village now we are going to make our meringue topping for our peanut butter meringue pie. Let's take our 3 egg whites and we would put that into our clean bowl. You want to make sure that you have cleaned out all the peanut butter or any fat or anything that is on the side of the mixing bowl because egg whites would not beat up if there is any grease in there at all. Any fat, any grease anything like that would not, even a little bit of egg yolk in the egg white would cause the egg whites not to fluff up. Put in a whisk attachment and we would start beating that and as we beat it we are going to sprinkle in our 3rd cup of sugar. Okay we are putting that sugar in slowly so that the sugar would dissolve as we are beating the egg whites. We are going to beat this up to a pretty stiff egg white okay we have beat our egg whites until we have a nice soft glossy soft paste. Let me show when you put out so you get a nice peak there and now we are going to put the pudding into our pie. It is now room temperature, it is not hot and would pour that over our peanut butter mixture, scraping out all that good pudding and there you go and just spread that out nicely over the peanut butter filling and next we would put our meringue on the top and we would be cooking that."
