"Hi I'm Karen for Expert Village Now I'm going to show how to make our ganache filling for our peanut butter pie. We are going to be using 2/3 for the filing and saving another third to put on the top of the pie. First you put in 8 ounces of a bitter sweet chocolate or a semi sweet chocolate right into a double boiler and a 1/2 cup of cream. And we would just melt that together and stir it up when you start it, it doesn't look so special just it is in there and as the chocolate melts it will blend in with the cream they melt together. You can also do this in a heavy bottom pan you use a double boiler so your so you won't burn your cream, you won't burn your chocolate. But if you use a low heat with a heavy bottom pan you can get similar results. Just keep stirring that up as it melts. Okay this is getting as the chocolate melts and we blend it in with the cream it is getting thicker and you can see it's making a sauce so we just want to mix that in nice and smooth so there is no lumps of chocolate left. When the chocolate is all melted and it is all mixed and then we would be putting it in with our pie. "
