"Hi I'm Karen for Expert Village now I'm going to show you how to prepare our crust in our pie plate. We just want to press it into first spread it around evenly and a little bit up the sides just to even it out and then we are going to press it. Now you can use your fingers like this and just press it right up the sides. The butter and the sugar has makes it easy to handle. You just press it with your fingers just pinching like this on the sides and the butter and the sugar helps it make it easy to manage. I also like to use hunt in your cabinet for a flat bottom cup or glass and then you can do the center like that and just press down nice and hard you want to compact all those crumbs so you have a nice firm crust. You can just compact it down. Sometimes as you compacting the bottom the sides would loosen up. So you can just go ahead and go over the sides again. Compact that down nicely and then I'm just going to go and pinch the sides down one more time for anything that I have might have missed up while I was doing the bottom. Okay now this we are going to put in the oven for 10 minutes just to firm it up and get it nice and crispy. The oven is at 350 degrees. "
