"Hi I'm Karen for Expert Village now I'm going to show you how to transfer our rolled out dough into the pie plate using the rolling pin. Now that is big enough for a pie plate and what you can do is put your rolling pin onto the dough and fold the dough up on to the rolling pin and then roll that back into the pan. Just ease it into your pie plate. Do not stretch the dough just kind of tuck it into the pie plate without stretching it. Cause when you cook when you stretch the dough, when it cooks it would shrink up and we would just leave the edges like that hanging over cause that would help us later when we want to crimp the edges so we are going to leave it just like that. Now to seal the inside of the crust so the pie won't get soggy we are going to use our egg whites that we have saved. Now somewhere I have a pastry brush. We would just take the pastry brush and brush a light coating of egg white all over the inside of that pie crust. Okay and now we are going to prepare our filling. "
