"Hi, I'm Jennifer Cail. On behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to make this delicious refreshing eggnog ice cream. Now that our custard is cooling down a bit it's time to add our next ingredients. We are going to be adding 2 cups of heavy whipping cream and you want to keep this in the fridge until the very last minute. You want this to be cold, you want it to be very cold which is why we also cooled down the custard so that we are not adding cold to warm or hot. We are just going to measure out those two cups which of course is equal to one pint. So you can get it in the one pint container and we are going to slowly mix this in and of course in the ice bath our custard is floating around in there so you want to be careful when adding things in. Make sure that you don't get any water in there and that your bowl doesn't tip over as well. Because then all of your hard work will be wasted. So we are going to start straining this a little bit and we are going to add one teaspoon of vanilla and you want to use real vanilla extract if you can get it. Just add that much more flavor to our custard and then we are going to add our optional 3 tablespoons of rum. Like I said earlier if you don't want to add alcohol then you can use rum flavoring. If you don't want to have any rum flavoring at all then that is all fine too, I'm just going to add a little bit something extra to your eggnog ice cream. Certainly if it's going to be mainly consume by children and then you don't need to add any rum flavoring what so ever but if this is going to be for a party for adults or a nice dinner or it's mainly adults. Then it's kind of a nice touch and then last but not least we are going to add a little bit of nutmeg and we are just going to sprinkle a little bit on there. You don't need to measure it you're just going to add a couple of sprinkles to add to the flavor."
