"Hi, I'm Jennifer Cail on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to make a variety of tiny tarts. Our next step is going to be showing you how to make a chocolate brownie filling for out tarts. Now we are going to start with 1/2 of cup of chocolate chips. You can use either melt chocolate or semi sweet, bitter, dark chocolate depending on the flavor that you are going after. Then we are going to add 2 tablespoons of butter and we are going to melt these and I'm going to use the microwave since it's just a small amount. So I'm going to cover it with a piece of saran wrap make sure that the saran wrap doesn't actually touch the food, you don't want to do that you want everything to be there far away from the saran wrap. But it's going to help prevent any splatters, so we are going to stick it in the microwave for a minute then come back. Now depending on how powerful your microwave is it's not going to take very long at all for a small amount. I would recommend putting your chocolate in butter in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds to start with and then stirring at that point. You can also listen for when the butter melts and start to sizzle being only 2 tablespoons of butter that is going to be rather quickly. As soon as the butter is melted the chocolate can start being stirred. Now for my microwave it was quite powerful and everything got melted quit quickly. But it can take up to a minute depending on the power and how much chocolate you are melting at a time. So you just want to stir the chocolate and the butter together until they are both mixed into one another and then we are ready for the next step."
