"Hi, I'm Jennifer Cail on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to make a variety of tiny tarts. With our cranberries and walnuts chopped it's time to mix up the rest of the cranberry walnut filling mixture. We are going to start with 1 egg which we are going to beat just a little bit before we add the rest of our ingredients. I'm just going to take a fork and break up that yolk. Next, we are going to add 3/4 of a cup of brown sugar and kind of break that up a little bit mixing in with the egg. Then we are going to add 1 tablespoon of melted butter; you can also use margarine if you prefer. We want to keep mixing this so that everything is incorporated and we broken up all of the lumps of the brown sugar. Last but not least we are going to add 1 teaspoon of vanilla. This will add a nice flavor along with the cranberries and walnuts and mix that all in there. This is going to be a nice base for the cranberries and walnuts filling and then we are going to add our 1/3 of a cup of cranberries, 3 tablespoons of walnuts. I just put them back on that cutting board for a moment, I'm going to mix these in and as soon as everything is incorporated then we are going to be ready for our next step."
