"You see our root beer, butter, and chocolate is coming together. Look at that. It's a beautiful chocolate sauce. It takes really good too. We're going to add this to our dry ingredients. The bottom of the bowl is pretty warm, so be careful. We're just going to pour that right in. I like have a spatula to scrape the sides down. You certainly don't want to use any of that precious chocolate in there. I have sufficiently scraped down the sides. First, we're going to combine these 2 sets of ingredients before we start adding the rest of it. I used to wonder why do everything separately. Why can't I just throw it all in one bowl and just be done with it? Well, you can but texture. Texture people, texture. It has everything to do with the texture of it. This will make for the perfect cupcake texture. Just trust me. I'm going to bring this together. I'll show you what it looks like. It's going to be pretty thick. You should be able to get with your spatula. You shouldn't need any beaters or mixers to get the lumps out. The spatula actually works just fine on that. You can kind of see the way I'm paddling it almost with the spatula. That really gets all the lumps out. Just get all the way in the bottom. You see how it's coming together. It's kind of thick. It's nice that it's not sticking to the bowl at all. That's pretty much it. I'm just going to work on this a little bit more and make sure all my lumps of flour and sugar are out. That's what it looks like. Once it get to this point, we're ready to add the rest."
