"Hi. I'm Kara with Expert Village and today we'll be making brownies with spinach and carrot puree. To begin our brownies with spinach and carrot puree, we first have to melt the 3 oz of chocolate. I have just a little bit of a 1/4" of water in a pan boiling here. I'm using this as my double boiler since I don't have one. It's okay to make shift. We are just going to set this over so that the heat slowly melts the chocolate. If you melt your chocolate in the microwave, which you can also do, just be sure you don't over cook it. It will turn thick and lumpy and not be combinable with the other ingredients. When the chocolate is fully melted. it should be creamy with no lumps. Just like this."
