Their relatively minor role in the nutritional food pyramid belies their strange ability to bring a sense of deeply-felt satisfaction, signified by an ebullient smile. Perhaps this reaction is more complex than it seems. Perhaps dessert reminds us of home, of everything that’s good, of times spent with family and friends, over a slice of cheesecake and a cup of coffee, or the classic duo, chocolate chip cookies and milk.

"Hi everybody I'm Lauren Taylor here at the Bakers corner on behalf of Expert Village as you know here we bake here at the Bakers Corner and today we are going to be making little tartlets. They are made from pastry dough, well actually pastry sheets and we would make 2 different kinds of filling to go in these tartlets. One is a zabaglione custard it is a very traditional Italian custard so so yummy it is really simple. You can put it in tartlets like this, you can put on top of fruit, some sorba it is fantastic. The other filling is going to be a vanilla mousse really light, it goes really well with the really the flaky pastry and we are going to top that with a fresh strawberry. Lets get started. "
