"We just got through melting our first bowl with our butter, cocoa, and root beer. Now we're going to mix our dry ingredients together. We have a cup and 1/4 of sugar. I already have a cup of it measured out here. Let's get another 1/4 of a cup going. There we go. We want a cup and a 1/4 of flour as well. A cup and a 1/4. There we go. A cup and a 1/4 of those 2 things. Now for our baking soda, baking powder, and all that good stuff. We need a half of a teaspoon of the baking powder. Make sure I get the right one, which is this one. They're shaped little hearts. Aren't those cute? Half a teaspoon of baking powder. The baking powder and baking soda are just going to give the cupcakes just enough rise to them so they'll poof up just enough. 1/4 of a teaspoon of baking soda and of our salt. I'm just going to take the top part of that so it's a little bit easier to scoop it out. There we go. You always want to add a little bit of salt when you're baking. For some reason, it actually brings out the richness and sweetness even more. It gives that little edge to it. Just mix these together and we'll be ready for our bowl number 3."
