"Welcome to Expert Village. In this clip, we're going to prepare our potatoes. If you're using potatoes that have thick skins, you'll want to peel them first. I'm using Yukon Gold. They have a nice thin skin, so we can go ahead and go to our next step. You want to scrub them up, rinse them, and then you're going to cut them. You're going to cut them into thin slices, but not all the way through. You can use the handle of a knife, and that will keep you from cutting all the way through your potato."
