"Hi, my name is Kip and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village today we are going to make a New York style cheesecake. Now that we have got our ingredients together for the pastry crust we are going to start to assemble that or to mix those ingredients together. The first thing we need to talk about is we mention you need a 1/2 cup self rising flour. Well a lot of times would don't have that in our pantries if we don't bake a lot and you can easily make the self rising flour we would show you how to do that right now. The formula is cause self rising flour is just flour with baking powder in it the formula is 2 teaspoons to 1 cup of flour. We are using a quarter cup of flour here so we are going to make half a teaspoon and this is my quarter inch or quarter teaspoon. Now the trick to make it work properly is you have to sifted it and sifted it well. So we are going to pour that bake into our bowl then we would pour that bake into our sifter and sift again. "
