"Hi, I'm Karen for Expert Village. Now we're going to roll out sugar paste and cut out the flowers. When the color is uniform like this, we can roll it out and cut the flowers. Use a little bit of powdered sugar to flower your board or I'm using baking paper, a nonstick paper and just roll that out to about somewhere between an 1/8 and a 1/4 of an inch. You can flip it over. You want to keep it powered with the powdered sugar so it's not sticking to your surface so you can move it around and roll it and make sure that it's still not sticking. You can brush off any excess powered sugar. I have this cute little cookie cutter here, that has a plunger and we can cut out our little flowers and just put them on our baking paper to dry. You just cut them out and this particular plunger will poke a hole into the middle and give it a flower center at the same time. So we'll make a bunch of these and just let them dry before we put them on our dessert."
