Making Chocolate Ganache Cookie Dip

"Hi! On behalf of Expert Village my name is Andrea Spano and I'm going to show you how to make Ganache from my new book "Not Just Desserts." They're a great treat especially for kids, but actually everybody likes it, especially chocolate lovers. These are the chocolate chip cookies that I make that are in my book. It's a very simple recipe. Chunk chocolate. But if you want to add more chocolate for your chocolate lovers, the ganache comes in great for that. With the warm ganache, what I'm going to do is I'm just going to take the cookies. Now these are nice and firm because I had them in the refridgerator, and I'm going to dip them half way into the chocolate. Okay. Let it drip off a little bit, put it on a cookie grate over a plate so that the chocolate drips on it. This way you don't mess up your counter. Of course I like to always work nice and clean. See how simple that is. Now, when you buy these cookies in the store, they cost $1.50, sometimes $2 for 2 cookies. This will save you a lot of money. It'll be a great treat. "
