"Hi, I'm Jennifer Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to make these beautiful delicate delicious spritz cookies. Our cookies are just about to be done. So let's take a look and see how they are doing. It's time to get these cookies out. As you can see the bottoms are a little bit brown. These are going to be just fine. But you do want to be very careful about that. Particularly if you have an oven which runs a little bit hotter or a darker cookie sheet. So remember the first ones are always going to be a little bit more of an experiment as you are working with a recipe and working with your oven. So we are going to let these cool for just a few moments on the cookie sheet. It's important for them to cool on the cookie sheet first so that the cookies have time to firm up a little bit before taking them off. Once they are cool enough to remove from the cookie sheet you want to cool them completely on a cooling rack. It is very important to not put the cookies either away in a container while they are still warm or to do any further decorating while they are still warm. If you put them away while they are still warm the steam that still is emanating from the cookies is going make them soft and mushy or you are going to have condensation in the container. Both of which you do not want. And if you were to try to ice the cookies right now while they are still very warm then the icing is going to melt. So it is important to let our cookies cool completely before going onto the next step."
