"Hi. This is Josiah Owen with Expert Village and today we're going to be talking about making a cookie tree. Alright now we're going to go ahead and make some red food coloring. What we're going to do is take about a quarter cup of the frosting and then we're going to add some red food coloring into it. Couple of drops. Then we're just going to mix this up. Make sure to turn the bowl and mix it right into any of the food coloring that's waiting on the side. Then we're going to knock this out. Mix a little bit more any of the pieces of frosting that are stuck in here. Keep on mixing and alright and then we're going to use that for our tree. Now what we're going to do is we're going to take the rest of the icing and we're going to pour green food coloring in that. This is going to be the base for our tree. Just go ahead and take our whisk and just mix this up. That's one thing you can also do with green food coloring in something like this is come St. Patties day you can make shamrock cookies. One of my best friends is actually from Ireland and so when St. Patties day comes around it's actually a really big deal with us and all our friends. Walk around with little gold coins and give them out. I think this year we're going to dress up like leprechauns so you can check back later for a series on that. And we might be doing a series on how to make shamrock cookies. Now you can see this is kind of light so we're actually going to put a couple more drops of green in there because that's not the color we're actually going for. And as you can see it starts to get a little bit darker. You can make it as dark as you want it but we weren't really going for pistachio. And once you've got it the right color then come on back and we're going to ice our cookie."
