"Hi, I'm Jennifer Cail. On behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to make a variety of different rolled sugar cookies. The last type of cookie cutter I'm going to show you how to use is a cookie stamp. This is going to be the easiest way to get pretty designs onto your dough. The important thing to remember is once again to flour your cookie stamp, you don't want it sticking to the dough at all. Secondly you are going to take a ball of dough and just take this from the excess scraps if you are also doing other cut cookies and place it directly on to your non greased cookie sheet. Then you are going to press down with the stamp, you want to press down enough to make sure that you embossed the design on there fully but not so much that you are left with a super pressed down cookie. Sometimes it's going to take one or two tries before your press is going to fully leave an imprint without sticking to the dough. Also depending on how sticky your dough is, let's go with the second one and for this one you can brush away some of the flour. You can see the snowflake design that has been pressed into our dough. You want to try and keep your cookies about the same thickness so make sure that when you are making your ball of dough you don't take too much of it. We are going to imprint this and you can see with each one you're getting a little bit better of a design from the press. You want to make sure that you get some dough in the press that you are going to get that out you can use your fingers, use a toothpick. You want to make sure also you are not getting too much flour in there to leave a better imprint. You can do an entire sheet of cookies this way by just lining up the balls of dough and by pressing down your cookie stamp."
