"Hi I'm Karen for Expert Village, now we are going to roll out out top crust and place that on the pie. Dust your surface with flour and place the disk on the flour and then we would just pound that out. Turn it. Try to keep the disk round and just enlarging it a little at a time. Keep that board nice and floured, put the dough back on and roll that out just back and forth kind of easing it to a nice round shape. I like to be about a inch larger then the pie plate all the way around. Put a little bit of flour if it begins to stick and jsut push together any cracks that you get just over lap it and push that into place. You can also feel if you feel any high spots and you roll that out. I think that is about the right size I just hold the pie plate over it, see that it is a little bit bigger then the pie plate, that looks good. It is about a inch bigger then the pie plate all the way around. Now Im going to put my pie over here, im just going to carefully pick up the crust and just roll it and slide it over that pie. Now at this point you can just kind of ease on to the top of the pie. Just kind of pressing it onto the apples all around and then fold up and tuck in that little lip of pie crust. If it cracks that is fine you can take a little water to repair if you wnat to stick on a new piece there aand make a litp all the way around. There yuo go we would keep those little pieces to do cut outs later. This is a little thin here we are just going to touch it with a little water"
