"Hi, I'm Jennifer Cail. On behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to make this delicious spicy sweet potato pie. For your sweet potato pie you will of course need a pie crust on the bottom of the pie tin. Now you can either make yours from scratch or you can always buy your pie crust, I won't tell. But your going to need to roll it out so that it fits into your pie pan for the easiest way to do this I have put down two pieces of wax paper on my counter top. For something like a pie crust you don't even need to tape down the bottom piece just make sure that you are not going to have it to stick to your rolling pin or to your counter top or pastry board that you roll it out on. You want to gently roll it out so that it's going to be about 14" wide cause this will be the size you need for a 9" pie crust. So you want to get it as round as possible and also make sure that your edges are not to thin. You can of course cut it to fit if you need to and you can also sometimes find rolling mats which have the size already drawn in for a little cheat sheet. So once we have this rolled out to the size and shape that we need it's time to go on to our next step."
