"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Angela Spano and I'm going to be showing you how to make nut dough today from my new book "Not Just Desserts." Alright, so now we're going to take pieces of the dough. I wet my hands just a little bit so they're nice and smooth and I'm going to take it and you don't have to worry that it's not the same thickness on it. We're going to just place it on the torte like that, we're going to make a criss cross pattern. Now don't forget these are going to puff up also. If I put the lades this way I'm going to make it exactly criss cross. See, no problem, if it breaks you just put it like that and actually it's nice when this part is a little thicker and that's skinner, you'll see at the end when it bakes up how beautiful it looks anyway. The baking soda in the dough, that's the ingredient that helps make it rise and swell."
