Adding Nuts to Torte Cake

"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Andrea Spano and I'm going to be showing you how to make nut dough today from my new book "Not Just Desserts." I want to show you what you can do if your dough gets too thick and that you can't really put the blades in there to really blend the dough together. Okay, you can just take the dough like that and just mix it with your hands. Make sure you grab all the dry ingredients from the sides of the bowl and you press it in. There it goes, see and this is probably going to be particularly true if you try to double the recipe because you'll have so much you have to do it with your hands. Now that I have my hands in the dough I might of will add the nuts and this is the last finishing touch to the dough. So I'm going to press the nuts in, work it with my hands and you can see how the nuts are starting to get incorporated into our nut dough."
