"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Andrea Spano and I'm going to be showing you how to make nut dough today from my new book "Not Just Desserts." So now that we have all of our ingredients right in front of us I'm first going to deal with the dry ingredients. I have my flour in my sifter over the medium bowl and I'm going to take my dry ingredients. I'm going to pour in the cinnamon, this is baking soda. Okay, so we've added our baking soda and the last dry ingredient is just a pinch of salt, so I'm just going to give it a pinch like that. Usually a pinch of salt is what you can grab in your fingertips and that's a pinch, exactly what it means. We just sift this together, we sift the dry ingredients together into one bowl so that the flavors are well distributed."
