In the second step of the cherry filling, we're now going to combine our cornstarch and sugar mixture with our hot cherry mixture on the stove. Making sure that everything is nice and hot, you just add in while stirring your powder mixture. And, then you'll just keep cooking it, keep stirring it to not burn the bottom until it becomes a nice clear red mixture. The white cornstarch will disappear once it's cooked up. And, I'm making a filling. But, you can also buy pre-bought cherry filling. Some people also just use straight cherries and not make a filling with it. Whatever your preference is, any option will work. And, it's starting to thicken up and it will start to get a little bit clearer as it gets to the finishing stages."
