"Hi, I'm Jamaica from Jamaica's Cakes in West L.A. on behalf of Expert Village. Today, we're going to be producing a Black Forest Cake. And, now I'm going to show you all the various utensils needed in preparing this Black Forest Cake. We have our turntable here, which will be needed for the decoration of the cake. We have a saucepan, which will be actually using a couple times throughout the steps. You'll need a whisk. You'll need a nice serrated bread knife, is going to be best when time to cut and decorate the cake. We've got two types of spatulas here. We've got the straight and we have an offset. Both of these are going to be needed in the process. Some various spatulas. We're going to need either a squeeze bottle or you can use a pastry brush for the application of the simple syrup on the cake. And, we've got two pastry bags here. Ones going to have a larger star tip for the whipped cream and one is going to have a smaller star tip for the chocolate ganache frosting. And, then for the whipped cream process you can either use a hand held mixer or I have a stand mixer that I'm going to be using today for the whipped cream."
