"Hi, this is Crystal on behalf of Expert Village today we are going to make my apple caramel cake. The hour is up and now we are going to take the cake out. It smells delicious. I'm just going to set it up here for now, we are going to let it cool off as it cools we are going to make the icing. These are the ingredients we will need for the caramel glaze. We have a 1/4 cup of heavy cream, 1 cup of brown sugar, 1 stick of butter and we're going to heat that up in a small sauce pan. First put the stove on medium heat. Now we're going to drop in the stick of butter in the sauce pan and melt it, that is melting nicely we are almost there. The butter is all melted now so I'm going to add in the other ingredients, add in the cream and the brown sugar. I'm just going to stir this till it is well mixed, I'm probably going to let this simmer. Once this is all mixed we're going to let it simmer for about 3 minutes, we're just going to keep stirring. I noticed that the color is changing, a little darker now. It's not really simmer yet you don't see it bubbling at all or anything like that so in another few minutes to be done. See now it's simmering you see how it's bubbling so keep stirring it, you don't want it to stick to the pan, burn to the pan anything like that. It's almost done another minute or so, our glaze is done now so I'm going to remove this from the heat and set it aside and get the cake ready so that we can ice it."
