"Okay, I have a nine inch spring form angel food pan. What spring form means is that this comes out. And you can tell this was quite old. This was my mom's. So we're going to butter and flour this because we don't want the cake to stick to the sides. This is kind of fun. You can get your hands in here. And you want to get the butter all the way around the sides. Making sure you get a good amount of it. Okay, I want it on the bottom of this guy. There's a little bit that came off. I can probably use my hands to get it on the bottom. Actually you can pull this guy out, rub it all along the sides of the bottom. Like that and then you want it up along the tube. Actually this isn't a traditional spring form. Spring form means the sides would open. This is an angel food pan. There we go. And just wipe my hands and the next thing I want to do is put some flour inside. So I'm going to take a little bit of flour and shake it along the inside of this. Like this. And now the trick is to get the flour to adhere to the butter. I'm going to hold on to the pan and we're going to tap it around. All around the sides. Don't worry if it comes up. Just hold that down with your fingers. Not the easiest job in the world, but some body's got to do it. And we need to make sure that we get it along the side of this form. All up and along the sides. And then anything left over, out it goes. Okay, so that's floured. Perfect. A little excess there. Okay, we're not going to have any stickage and this can just be thrown away."
