"Hi. Kristi Feretti here with a few tips about storing fresh herbs in your home. Some people have a green thumb which means they can have fresh herbs anytime out in their yard or in pots on their windows these are the best and freshest herbs you can get. If you do need to buy them in the store or at a farmers market then you can buy them in bunches and this is really your best bet. So you buy them in bunches think of them basically as flowers, you can take them home and put them in a vase with some water and set them on your counter and if you keep your home cool around 70 degrees or below you can keep them on the counter out of direct sunlight. When you are not using them place go ahead and take a zip lock bag or plastic bag and put it on the top shelf in your refrigerator and it will keep them crisp and fresh."
