"Hi my name is Kip and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're making pumpernickel bread. Pumpernickel bread is a wonderful, dense, rye bread, and it originates in Germany. The next step we need to take is to combine our, the rest of the wet ingredients with a saucepan and some heat. Set your stove to a low flame, and I like this little tiny saucepan that I have here. And the first thing you're going to want to do is just add your butter and let that begin to melt. And you're not going to want to overheat the sauce, you're just going to bring it up to warm, and to the point where your ingredients have all melted together and become just comfortably warm, and liquified. Wait until your butter has melted completely. Once your butter has melted, then go ahead and add your molasses, your vinegar, and your chocolate. I'm going to go ahead and add our molasses, our vinegar, and our chocolate. Now this is approximately, a lot of times I'll grate, but it just makes it melt a little bit faster. You can do it in a big chunk and just take a little bit longer. Melt that all together, and once that is combined, we're ready for the next step. "
