"Hi! I'm Karen for Expert Village. Now we'll mix the wet ingredients for our healthy pancakes. Start with the eggs. We are going to use 1 whole egg and 2 egg whites to kind of cut down in the cholesterol in the pancake batter. Now to get only the egg white, you crack your egg and open it very slowly and then pour the egg yolk back and forth letting the egg white fall into the bowl and then we will just throw that cholesterol out. Crack the egg, open very slowly and then pour the egg yolk back and forth; we'll put that to the side. Okay we want to beat that egg a little to incorporate some air into it with a quick stroke in a circular motion. Okay next we will add our milk, soy milk. You can use milk or rice milk or any nut milks are fine substitutions and just mix that in nicely and then we will add our oil. This is Canola Oil. You can try using the extra light olive oil they have in the market; is a good healthy oil. Canola oil is also popular. That's 2 tablespoons of oil and stir that in nicely incorporating it nice and evenly. Now we are ready to mix in our dry ingredienets. "
