"Hi! I'm Karen for Expert Village. Now we are ready to cook our blueberry and apple cinnamon pancakes. You need to pre-heat your pans to about a medium heat setting before you start. To check to see if your pans are hot enough, you can spritz them with a little water and it should sizzle off and off. Another thing I like to do is take a little bit of batter and just try that on the pan to see if it is ready to cook. If it cooks up nicely, I think these are little too low. I am going to turn my heat up a spec. It should form little bubbles and cook fairly quickly. Okay these pans are probably ready; I'm going to get rid of that. There are different ways to prepare your pan. You can either use a pan spray and just lightly spray your pan or you can use a little dollop of butter and spread that around on the pan. You can also use a little bit of oil like the butter and spread that just a light light coating on the pan. "
