"Hi, this is Richard Buccola in New York City and today on behalf of Expert Village today I'm going to show you how to make mushroom fritters. Our batter is ready and our oil is ready to. We are just going to take a wooden spoon, the back of a wooden spoon and put it on our oil just to show you that it is ready to go. You see the little bubbles around the edges that means that it is hot enough and ready to go. I have my tablespoon, I'm going to make a tablespoon at a time mixture. I'm only going to put a few of them in there. I'm going to start by popping that one in and that is it. This is our fritters going in. I'm going to do about 3 of them at a time just to see how it goes. The oil is hot enough I see them going nice. You are going to cook them until they are brown on side and until they are brown on one side and you are going to flip them. I put a couple in. I wanted to test them. You can see they get nice and golden brown so I just flip them after about a minute after you see them get golden brown; watch that none of them get burned. You see this popping too much, just turn your heat down a little bit. These have only been cooking about a minute on each side and they are pretty much done. When you are cooking with hot grease make sure your handles are always turned in especially if you have children in the house. It is just a little trick or a little safety tip here from me."
