"Hi, this is Richard Buccola in New York City and today on behalf of Expert Village, today I'm going to show you how to make mushroom fritters. We are just going to take and wash our mushrooms. I'm just wiping off our mushrooms caps and this is a good way to wash mushrooms. Don't put them underneath the faucet, just get a wet paper towel and just wipe them down. This way you don't/water tends to bruise them and get all mushy and you don't need that just wipe them down and that is all you really need to do. We are then going to give them a thin slice. We are just going to take our mushrooms and give them a thin slice like a 8th of a inch. I like the slices to see the stem like that it would look nice when we have our final product with our/when they come out of the deep fryer. So do this to all of your mushrooms. This is something to do before hand, get all done in the morning. I even make my batter and what I would do is put them in the batter and just let them soak like that sometimes. You don't have to do it that way it just makes life easier. I just try to do a lot of the prep work early so that when you are doing you main cooking you can alway have something out and ready for when guest come over. So we have our mushrooms chopped nice and what we are going to do is just add them to our bowl and we are going to start to make our egg mixture. Our egg and flour mixture. "
