"Hi my name is Rachel Deon for Expert Village. Now lets make a batch of jelly. The jam that we made was with fruit pieces inside. Now we're only going to use only the juice that is going to be taking out of the fruits and mix it with sugar and get a nice jelly. We need to strain the liquid out of the fruit thats why were going to use a strainer and a piece of cloth it can either be a cheese cloth, or an old handkerchief, or any kind of very thin cloth. We washed and cut our fruit, we weighed them, and after we saw how much they weigh we need to put them in a pot for a every pound of fruit you need to add half of cup water. We have here 2 pounds of fruit which means we need 1 cup of water. I'm going to add water for 2 pounds, I want to mention that not every fruit needs that much water. The plums have a lot of pectin in it but not every fruit have pectin."
