"Hi! This is Richard Buccola of New York City and today on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to make some stuffed mushrooms. Buying mushrooms; a real simple thing. Look at your package. You can just see if they look nice and fresh. You can actually feel them. They're very firm. You can still smell them. You don't want them to smell like anything. You definitely don't want mushrooms to be soft. You want them to be a little hard and dense so that if you push your finger in it's going to bounce right back nice. Let's open these up and I'll show you. These are even nice and cleaned already. Very beautiful mushrooms. What we're going to do is we're not going to wash these under water. What we're going to do is just take a paper towel and wet it. What you want to do to clean these is just wet a paper towel and you're just going to wipe off and dirt particles. These are beautiful mushrooms. You can just see them. Smell great, look great, big, beautiful mushrooms for stuffing. That's what we're going to do. We're going to stuff these mushrooms. Again, looking at your mushrooms, make sure they're not slimy. Make sure they're not fungi or fungus growing on it. They shouldn't smell and they should be firm. They should be very hard to touch. You shouldn't be able to push your finger through it. If you can, don't buy. Get good ones."
