"Hi, this is Richard Buccola here in New York City and on behalf of Expert Village, today we are going to show you how to make some cream of mushroom soup. Alright, so I just basically, for chopping the mushrooms, I like to keep one or two of the small ones on the side, that is just going to be for decorations. Actually I'm just going to use one for decorations. The other ones it is just real simple, you are going to take your mushrooms with stem and all. Just put it down with the head standing up. Old trick, don't forget put your knuckles in, bring your fingertips in from your knuckle so when you are cutting it you don't cut. A Simple nice tomato knife, nice easy slices straight down, thin slices. That is going to be the chopping of our mushrooms, real simple. We are actually going to put everything in a blinder or a pureer. I didn't talk about that earlier, but when I come back I'm going to show you how to finish chopping these up and talk about some of the hardware you are going to need for this soup. Very simpling stuff though like your mixing cups and a pureer and stuff like that. When we come back we are going to keep making this delicious and hearty cream of mushroom soup here on Expert Village."
