"Hi this is Richard Buccola in New York City and on behalf of Expert Village today we are going to show you how to make some cream of broccoli soup. So look in here, this is how it should look like. You see how everything has gone to a mushy that is how you want it to look and I'm doing it on a low flame while it is actually still cooking. It is very simple to do, make sure for safety wise you unplug your puree. See how nice that looks all those little pieces that is what you are looking for puree, small little pieces. So what I do is just cook in a low flame, I will cover it again. I will come over here and I would actually now on my cream I would put up the flames to a medium heat. I will get this to where it is going I will start to stir it and what I want to do is get it thick and I want to get it hot and I want to get it bubbling. I'm going to keep stirring it until that happens. You are going to see it is going to thicken up really quick. Once that happens you just add it straight to your broccoli soup and then you add some pepper for taste and that is it. I sometimes put salt, lately I haven't been, I watch my salt intake. My aunt never uses salt it is up to you, you know you are going to have to play around with this. You see the flour starts to thicken up you want to get it where it starts to boil. I will show you when you get it there and we are just stirring it and giving it a quick whisk as we do it. It is a really simple soup to make I have taken less then 10 minutes so far, maybe you want to do it before you go to work like I do and just store it in the refrigerator. What is great when it freezes. "
