"Hi this is Richard Buccola here in New York City and on behalf of Expert Village today we are going to show you how to make some cream of broccoli soup. Okay first thing we are going to do for this soup is we are going to put some butter 2 tablespoons 2 1/2 tablespoons of butter in a big pot. We are going to chop up this onion which I would do now and also chop up this celery. Cutting a onion it is tough some people say how do you do it with crying there is all these different methods. I say cut it fast but no all kidding putting aside is just something. This is a big onion so I'm not going to use the whole thing but I'm just going to cut off the top head and I'm going to cut it right in half. Let's get the skin off first the skin is really useless. Give a slice like this, get off the major skin and cutting onion some people say how do stop that crying. I really don't know cutting it fast that is a joke that we use to say my mom would say just cut it fast. My other aunt would say not to cut off the ends and that helps. I have just not really cried from cutting onions so I guess I'm lucky when you cook enough with them. "
