Using Cooking Utensils for Broccoli Soup

"Hi this is Richard Buccola here in New York City and on behalf of Expert Village today we are going to show you how to make some cream of broccoli soup. Okay some of the utensils we are going to need I want every one to know I'm a chef or the chef from the future sort of speak. I'm not a great big chef but I do like to cook and I have been cooking for years. My aunt I always talk about my aunts and my mom they where these Irish girls that lived in a Italian neighborhood and oh Italian guys are marrying the Irish girls and that is how I came to be but in New York City we find that you don't need a lot. You know everyone thinks you need a big kitchen and stuff you really don't all you need is you know a small little area. Most of my cooking especially here on Expert Village you would see that I'm a little table like this. So you don't need a big prep area you just need a cutting board right here, you need a sharp knife go out and get yourself a good knife, knives are good get them sharpen and sharpen with it. A purer you can use a blender, you can use this type of puree, you can have a Cuisinart processor I don't know you can even use a smasher for this. This is a good hearty soup for the fall it very simple. I like to use sometime I eyeball stuff but sometimes I like to use measuring cups, if you are a first time cooker you should really measure everything and then play around with and make it a 2nd and 3rd time. I have been making this soup a lot for many years. The kids most kids don't like broccoli but they will eat this soup I promise. Then you would need just a regular soup boil and a suateeing pan for the actual part of it when we mix it in. That is it, it is a simple dish, simple to make, very cheap and inexpensive to make.
