"Hi! This is Richard Buccola here in New York City and today on behalf of Expert Village, I am going to show you how to make Scalloped Potatoes. Alright for our Scalloped Potatoes today we are going to need about 2 1/2 pounds of just some regular potatoes. We are going to boil them and we are also going to take the skins off. We are going to need an onion, some garlic, some butter and some half and half. You can use milk if you don't have half and half. We are going to need some spices. Just real simple spices. Just some parsley flakes and some salt and pepper for taste. And of course to make our Scalloped Potatoes Au Gratin, we are going to have to put in this sharp cheddar cheese. You are going to need about 8 to 10 ounces. This is actually 8 ounces, which will be more than enough; 8 ounces of sharp cheese shredded. And those are all of your ingredients. When I come back, I am going to show you just how easy this is. This is a real hardy meal. I tell you this is a hardy side dish. It is very filling. So this is something that goes great with a ham, cooked ham. It is always great to have Scalloped Potatoes with and with that side. I'll show you what utensils you need and what hardware to cook these scallop potatoes here on Expert Village. "
