"Hi! This is Richard Buccola here in New York City and on behalf of Expert Village, today I am going to show you how to make Shrimp Cocktail. Like I was saying before Shrimp Cocktail was always made in these dessert dishes or these cocktail glassware and it comes back from prohibition where they were just collecting dust. Also today I am going to show you a nice little platter. Sometimes it is nice to put it on a platter. I am also going to show you some delicate way of serving it maybe in like a nice piece of lettuce to give it a little refined look of serving it. For that, you are going to need a bowl. I like to actually cook up my shrimp here. I am going to show you how to de-vein and de-scale them I guess you would say. I actually cut up my shrimp here. I am going to show you how to de-vein and de-scale them, to take the shells off. You need a good paring knife. I always tell you guys go out and get a good set of knives. They will pay for themselves just in years of being able to cut a lot easier. A cutting board. All I do when I de-shell them, I have one where I throw my shells in here and my shrimp in here. This is where my cleanup is easy. You want everything to be easy. You want it to be convenient. Cooking should be something fun and when you have the right tools, it does help. Oh yeah, you need a pot of boiling water. So that is also one of the utensils you are going to need and when we come back, I am going to actually start de-veining these shrimp. "
