"Hello, my name is Frank Torres and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. And this segment is about report writing while pulling mobile surveillance. Well here I am, I've finished my time on my subject. I'm at a total different area away from my observation point, I've reviewed my tape and now it's time to write my report. What I'm going to want to do when I'm writing my report is write down every little detail about what happened while I was pulling surveillance on a person. Even, the useful thing about report writing is there are things that happen that are so quick that you won't even a chance to turn your camera on. The subject might go out and grab the newspaper off their porch. They might have a couple of visitors that you'll have to document during their time in their residence. This is where the report writing comes in handy. This gives your clients an idea of what kind of activities your clients have been doing regardless of whether you have them on video or not. And of course you'll want to document your video. This is where you get very detailed on what the subject was doing. You might see something that the person reviewing the video might not see. You might want to notice how Mr. X bent his back in an awkward angle which he previously said was injured. Or Mrs. X was seen turning her neck at a forty-five degree angle when earlier in the month she said that she injured her neck. The quick things that happen, the things that you see that your clients might not have seen. That's where report writing comes in handy. And you'll want to get as detailed as possible. And while it's not the most exciting part of the job, it's definitely one of the most useful."
