"In this clip, we're going to talk about the proper service procedure to rebuild a front brake caliper. In this step, we're going to talk about the proper service procedure for breaking loose our vehicle's lug nuts. I have in my hands, my tool of choice for that. It's your conventional four way. The nice thing about a four way is it comes with all of the most common lug nut sizes. This particular vehicle takes a three quarter, or nineteen millimeter. Go ahead and slip it on there and break them loose. You're going to have to break your lug nuts loose before you jack the tire off the ground. We're going to use the weight of the vehicle on the tire to hold it still. If you had it in the air, of course, it's just going to free spin on you. You're not going to want to take and put a whole bunch of turns on these lug nuts and loosen them up a lot. If you do, that room you create between the lug and the rim can cause the tire to cock. That may damage the studs, the thread portions of the studs, or even break the lug stud off. And for the last one. Right there. That is the proper service procedure for breaking loose your vehicle's lug nuts."
