Grade Points for NHRA Racing

"Hi, I'm Tina Stull and I drive the Top Dragster for Interstate Batteries. On behalf of Expert Village I'm here to help you walk through the process of filling out the forms so that you can compete in the NHRA. The importance of grade points is it tell you when you can register for a national event and back on the NHRA, when you get to the point of registering it'll give you a listing of what day you are available to register. So if you've only run three races, a lot of the big events you are not going to get in, they'll fill up. Some of them will fill up the first day, so it's, I personally on my calendar mark my calendar for what day, it's going to always be a Wednesday and it will be at noon and that's the day I need to register, I'll be on my computer at noon on that day and make sure that I get in because once they fill up it's very hard to get in. Sometimes you can wait, somebody drops out, you might be lucky but it's much easier to just plan ahead."
