"TINA STULL: H., I'm Tina Stull and I drive the Top Dragster for Interstate Batteries. On behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to share my thoughts on being mentally prepared for a run. When you get ready for a run, especially when you're new, this probably applies to you the most, is you're dealing with--you're fighting a lot of fear and you're fighting a lot of adrenalin and there's a lot of nervousness involve. And there are a lot of things you can do to prep for that that will help you get through that day and allow you to race during those long days. First is make sure you're rested; that sleep at the track is a hard thing to get. And just kind of know that sometimes, you may have to give a little bit more time. If you normally get six hours of sleep, go for eight 'cause you'll probably lose a lot of sleep."
