Looking at the Back of a NHRA Racing Driver Card

"TINA STULL: Hi, I'm Tina Stull and I drive the Top Dragster for Interstate Batteries. On behalf of Expert Village, today, we're going to talk about the basics of racing. On the back of these cards, there's a time where you get to really put your message out in a bigger way. On the back like here, we see that they're really promoting the product. On this one here, we have with Joe Gibbs. This is an older one but they're really promoting the entire team, not just the driver but also the crew chief and the team owner. Real common is going to be their schedules. Other times, they're talking more personally about what that individual's accomplishments were. It depends on who's the draw. In a case like this where you have a team owner that's a big draw, they're going to include that. So look at the assets that you have on your team and try to get the most out of all of them that you can. It goes all the way back down to, like, somebody like John Force. Yeah, he gets some recognition to his sponsors, but pretty much people are going to want to know just specifically about him. And at the same time, it's what's most important. And here, we did a little bit on me, a little bit on the product and on the organizations that I've been working with. And it's really important. It's like for my sponsor, they're glad that I do a lot of this stuff on the side and that I'm willing to give that space up, but do check with your sponsors to make sure that there's not an issue of where they're paying for card, they don't want other people on it, or--there's an importance of keeping a balance so that both your sponsors and your endorsers are all happy."
