"TINA STULL: Hi, I'm Tina Stull and I drive the Top Dragster for Interstate Batteries. On behalf of Expert Village, today, we're going to talk about the basics of racing. There are also times that you can use promotion to help out events or other groups that you want to help out that you support. These might be basically endorsers that aren't giving you money but you want to draw attention to the good work that they're doing, everything from Military Warriors Support Foundation which has done a lot of work out here in San Antonio recently to raise money. Being able to utilize the car for that is mutually beneficial. We were able to draw attention to the good work that they're doing. At the same time, I was able to get exposure for my sponsor at some of their events. You can't always look at the bottom line or the dollar amount because everything builds on itself. It builds additional opportunities. The more people that see you, maybe one of those people that see you goes, "Hey, I'd love to sponsor a race car. I'd love to be involved." You're really--you have to remember that when a sponsor is supporting you, what they're really doing is they're supporting you as an individual. Even though you have a team behind you, they have to like and agree with you. You want to make sure that the sponsors hold similar ideals so that--and you need to pay attention to that, maybe you don't--you can't have like two tool companies. I have Mac Tools so I'm not going to obviously go to another tool company and ask them to sponsor me as well."
