"TINA STULL: Hi, I'm Tina Stull and I drive the Top Dragster for Interstate Batteries. On behalf of Expert Village, today, we're going to talk about the basics of racing. One of the best ways to think of yourself is that you're a moving billboard. And just as if you were going to promote that billboard, that's where you need to promote your car. I found personally that if I try to promote at the track, I'm one of 800 cars and it's really hard. You're just not going to stand out. But when you take that car away from the track and you promote it in front of a sport store, in front of a car dealership, you become one unique item. And it is a big draw for them and it's a lot easier that you can get radio, you can get press. Sporting events are great. And also, just on a personal note, I would say, go with your heart. If you have charities or organizations that you really would like to sponsor, sometimes, you can give them more than a check by providing your car just for--to draw attention, draw attention to them, draw attention to their event. And it's nice, and it's a great time to build your people skills, as far as being able to talk to people, maybe you don't know, or if you're a little bit on the shy side. Those events really help you hone your skill at talking and presenting a message. And through that, as the sponsor sees your ability to do that, that's a chance for you to give back and let them know where their money went for that season."
