"Hi, I'm Tina Stull, and I drive the top dragster for Interstate Batteries. On behalf of Expert Village, I want to talk to you a little bit about getting ready to go to the lanes. On this there are about five things that are--if you don't do, you're going to lose. One of it is now I need to turn on my air bottle. And you're going to want to check the pressure. Everybody likes to run it--mine, if it's between 800 and 1,000 pounds that are good for this system. You want to make sure that this is turned on completely because that's what's shifting your engine, and if you don't you're not going to go into second gear. There are a couple elements that you need to do before you get in the car and go up to the staging lane. You check your tire pressure, your fuel level, you need to make sure your power's on, you need to make sure that you have all of your gear, and you need to make sure that your air bottle is on. Any one of those things can easily be overlooked, and hopefully you have people that are going to be backing you and making sure that those things are done, but you as a pilot of this car need to be responsible for that."
